MOSFET is designed for 12V hot swap applications
The 30V MOSFET has low on-resistance which, combined with a high SOA capability, makes it suitable for hot swap and e-fuse use to protect systems and ensure continuous operation.

Alpha and Omega’s director of product marketing, Peter H Wilson, explains that the high SOA with low on-resistance meets demanding application requirements, such as the data centre infrastructure. A high SOA is essential in servers, for example, where the MOSFET is required to be robust to manage the high inrush current effectively during hot swap.

The AONS32310 is supplied in a 5.0 x 6.0mm DFN package and has a maximum Rds(on) of 1.05mΩ at an applied gate-source voltage equal to 10V GS.

The AONS32310 is immediately available in production quantities with a lead-time of 16 weeks.

Alpha and Omega Semiconductor (AOS) is a designer, developer and supplier of a range of power semiconductors, including a wide portfolio of power MOSFETs, IGBTs, IPMs, TVS, HVIC, SiC/GaN, power IC and digital power products.

The company has developed intellectual property (IP) and technical knowledge to address the increasingly complex power requirements of advanced electronics. It believes it differentiates itself by integrating its discrete and IC semiconductor process technology, product design, and advanced packaging expertise to develop high-performance power management solutions.

Products target high volume applications, including portable computers, flat-panel TVs, LED lighting, smartphones, battery packs, consumer and industrial motor controls, and power supplies for TVs, computers, servers, and telecommunications equipment.
