Transient voltage suppressor suits USB Type-C protection
The low-clamping voltage, high surge transient voltage suppressor (TVS) uses the latest high surge TVS platform for USB Type-C Power Delivery.

It covers a reverse working voltage (VRWM) from 5.0 to 22V, which meets the requirement of USB Power Delivery. VRWM can be selected according to the maximum operating voltage on the Type-C VBUS pin.

The TVS is housed in a DFN 2x2 package to meet the small footprint requirement of Type-C application small electronic devices, says the company.

The combination of low breakdown voltage, low clamping voltage and high-surge current is designed to reduce the ESD and EOS failure rate in end products.

The AOZ8621UNI-05, -07, -12, -15, -18, -20 and -22 are available now in production quantities, with a lead time of 16 weeks.
