High density AC/DC power supplies use convection cooling
The convection-rated AC/DC power supplies are available in multiple formats and power levels including 250, 425, 660 and 1200W. The company plans to release further versions, 150 and 800W soon. All models have a single output from 12 to 56V DC.

Rather than cooling with fans, the power supplies eliminate acoustic noise and increase reliability with a convection rating performance. The scalable design has customisation options such as enhanced digital monitoring and control, multi-output, cardiac float (cf), covers and fan covers.

The NGB series offers Class I and II inputs with high output stability across wide temperature range up to 50°C without derating. It also has a wide universal input range of 80 to 264V AC and has a high convection power rating (derated only at 90V AC input voltages).

The use of a (minimum) seven year electrolytic capacitor extends operating lifetime, says the company.

The series is qualified to Medical 4th Edition and heavy industrial levels of EMC compliance, meeting Class B emission levels with margins. It is approved to CSA/EN/IEC UL62368, IEC61326-1/UL60601-1, 3rd Edition and has a three-year warranty.
