PCB power relays maintain small footprint for solar inverter applications

They have been introduced to meet the demands from engineers for solar inverters to switch higher currents and higher voltages yet maintain small footprint dimensions. The two relays measure 38 x 33mm, and are offered in a compact PCB package.

The AZSR190 is a one-pole relay rated for switching currents up to 90A. A high current version (AZSR190T) switches at 100A. The relay features a contact gap of 3.6mm, 5kV dielectric strength between coil and contact and a low holding power of only 310mW.

The AZSR165 series is the economy version and is designed for switching currents up to 65A. It has a 3.0mm contact gap, a dielectric strength between contact and coil and features a low holding power of just 360mW.

Application-oriented loads are approved at UL and TÜV.
