Metal enclosed AC/DC power supplies save space

They offer power ratings from 35 to 350W with low profiles. The compact packages measure 99 x 82 x 30mm (3.89 x 3.22 x 1.18-inch). They deliver no-load power consumption as low as 0.3W and have an operating temperature range of -20 to 70°C.

The rugged, metal enclosed power modules reduce standby power usage and optimising available space in commercial and industrial applications, says the company.

The power supplies carry single output voltages of 12, 24, 30, and 48V DC, depending on the model, and an adjustable output trim. Most of the series are convection cooled, and the VGS‑250B and VGS‑350B both feature built-in cooling with a temperature-controlled fan. All models have a screw terminal interface, over-current, over-voltage, and over-temperature protection.

Safety approvals include UL and EN 60950-1 as well as EN 55032 for conducted and radiated emissions.

The VGS‑B series is available immediately.
