DC/DC converters target high voltage applications

The 300W output power modules are suitable for use in data centres, telecommunications and renewable energy applications using a 380V nominal high voltage DC bus.

The four new models are rated at 12V 25A, 24V 12.5A, 28V 10.8A and 48V 6.3A, extending the existing 50 to 150W range of 3.3 to 48V outputs. The 300W models have a greater adjustment range of -60% to 20% to accommodate non-standard voltages.

They are supplied in an industry standard half-brick package, measuring 61.0 x 12.7 x 57.9mm. Efficiencies are up to 92%. The converters can provide full load with -40 to 100°C baseplate temperatures. They can also be conduction-cooled, making them suitable for use in sealed outdoor enclosures or liquid cooled applications.

All modules include a five-year warranty, remote on-off, and over-current and over-voltage protection. The series is fully isolated with an input to output isolation of 3,000V AC and are safety certified to IEC/EN 60950-1, UL/CSA 60950-1 with CE marking for the Low Voltage and RoHS2 Directives.
