Advantech, a global leader in Edge AI and embedded technologies, will demonstrate its latest innovations at the first-ever edition of Microelectronics 2025.
On booth D23 at the UK’s new flagship event for microelectronics and advanced embedded solutions, Advantech says it will present its industry-leading portfolio of high-performance edge computing platforms, robotics-ready systems and advanced embedded boards.

The company says visitors will see live demonstrations of AI at the edge, alongside dedicated solutions designed to serve the robotics industry. On display will be Industrial Box-PCs for end-to-end Edge AI applications, including the high-performance AIR-520, as well as a wide selection of Computer-on-Modules (COMs), Single-Board Computers (SBCs) and industrial motherboards. Last but not least, visitors can learn about all the local options and support offered by Advantech’s customised product Design & Manufacturing Services (DMS).

From aerospace and defence to medical technology, telecommunications, industrial automation and beyond, Advantech says its solutions enable engineers, developers and system integrators to overcome the toughest AI integration challenges. The use of Edge AI places high demands on the selection of computing hardware, optimised models and stable software ecosystems. The integration of such solutions requires a systematic interplay between platform, toolchain, operating system and AI framework. Advantech says it addresses these pain points with one of the broadest embedded product ranges on the market, backed by a powerful ecosystem of technology partners and tools such as its EdgeAI SDK, a turnkey benchmark platform for streamlined AI deployment. By combining proven hardware with scalable software, Advantech can help customers accelerate time-to-market and ensure long-term reliability in mission-critical environments.

Darren Chapman, Sales Director Embedded IoT – UK & Ireland at Advantech says: “The launch of Microelectronics 2025 marks an exciting new chapter for the UK embedded industry, and we’re delighted to be part of its very first edition. This event is shaping to become the ideal platform for us to connect with innovation leaders from across the UK and beyond. We want to demonstrate the breadth of our portfolio and the depth of expertise we bring to solving real-world challenges in Edge AI and robotics. Visitors to our stand will discover practical, deployable solutions which enable them to innovate with confidence and bring their ideas to market faster.”
