The wire-to-wire connectors in Adam Tech's Secur-Seal series are now expanding Rutronik's portfolio. The connectors feature a compact design and consist of a housing with two to six contact points. They support various cable cross-sections and offer suitable seals for every cable thickness to prevent the ingress of water or dust. They are capable of carrying currents from 5 A to 18 A, enabling greater application compatibility, especially in combination with customer-specific cable assemblies. The components are manufactured in India at competitive prices and are suitable for a wide range of applications, especially in harsh environments such as the automotive and off-road vehicle sectors or in agriculture. They are available at www.rutronik24.com.
The series has a compact housing with a 6 mm pitch. It offers a wide range of AWG connection options (22 AWG to 20 AWG, 18 AWG to 16 AWG, 16 AWG to 14 AWG) and wire seal sizes, and is designed for rated currents from 5 A to 18 A. The housing is designed for 24 VDC, while the contact crimp connections themselves tolerate up to 250 VDC/AC.
The connectors are waterproof and robust. They ensure reliable and secure connections, which are established with an audible click and can withstand shocks and vibrations without coming loose.
