Recom adds universal AC input to IEC mains filter
The RAC05-K/C14 features safe and touchable DC outputs and is easy to install, says the company.

The design of the RAC05-K/C14 fits a complete 5W power supply into a standard C14 mains filter housing, without altering the case size. This is also achieved at a lower cost than many power supplies or mains filters alone, says the company. It uses a standard IEC “kettle connector” mounting hole, to reduce installation time to just a few seconds. The touchable output terminals are safe extra-low voltage (SELV) and available in 3.3, 5.0, 12, 15 and 24V DC output voltages and are protected against short circuits, over-load and over-voltage.

The metal case offers secure fixing and enhances the thermal dissipation to provide an operating temperature range of -40 to 60°C without derating.

The RAC05-K/C14 is particularly suitable for powering single board computers such as the Raspberry Pi (including touchscreen), Arduino, BBC Micro:bit. It is CE marked and EN/IEC/UL certified.

Samples and OEM pricing are available from all authorised distributors or directly from Recom.
